IYENGAR YOGA · TAIPEI

Build a steady, intelligent practice through precise alignment

AKASA teaches the systematic approach of Iyengar Yoga through clear instruction, intelligent use of props, and progressive sequencing, helping every student practise safely and understand how their body works.

For complete beginners and experienced students seeking greater alignment and awareness

Yoga is not only about making a shape. It is about understanding the body.

THE IYENGAR METHOD

Yoga is not only about making a shape. It is about understanding the body.

Iyengar Yoga emphasises alignment, sequencing, and timing. Teachers observe each student and offer specific, practical adjustments so that practice is based on understanding rather than imitation.

Blocks, belts, wall ropes, and other props do not simply make a pose easier. They help the body find direction, extension, and stability, allowing different students to experience the essential action of an asana.
